Huawei, sponsors England Tour of Sri Lanka
Huawei the leading global smartphone maker, together with the support of Singer Sri Lanka PLC the country’s number one brand and Smartphone marketer, who is the exclusive national distributor for Huawei, came forth as an official sponsor for the England Cricket Tour in Sri Lanka which is scheduled to commence today (26)
The one day international series comprising seven matches will start off on the 26th of November at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and will end on the 16th of December at the same grounds, with matches scheduled at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Huawei as a leading international brand, has been supporting many sports with partnerships with Arsenal Football Club, AC Milan and the Royal Challengers Bangalore Cricket team in IPL to name a few. Huawei recently tied up with the first American sports club, Washington Redskins NFL team last month. The company has been supporting the Canberra Raider of the NRL since 2012.(KH)
