Tuition Classes, Seminars, Lectures targeting O/L banned
The Commissioner General of Examinations Jayantha Pushpakumara said that holding seminars, tuition classes and lectures targeting this year's G.C.E. O-Level Examination is prohibited from midnight Wednesday (Dec.03). The Commissioner General highlighted that people who breach the ban will be dealt with the law. He requests the public to complain about such occurrences to the nearest police stations. Hotlines 1911, 0112 421 11 and 119 are open for lodging complains.
The announcement is valid for the entire period of the examination. Issuing model question papers is also banned.
The G.C.E. O-Level Examination commences on the 9th of next month and will conclude on 18th. (ST/KH)
