Progress of an economy cannot be measured by reliefs given
There has been some relief to the people and some promises have been fulfilled. However, the economy doesn’t depend only on solutions that are given for instant issues and fulfilling promises says the Leader of the JVP Anura Dissanayaka responding to questions posed by journalists at the Parliamentary Complex after the reading of the interim budget proposals.
Speaking further he said an economy depends on the vision and how strongly the policy is being taken forward. The relief given to the people at this moment cannot gauge the progress or strength of an economy.
