India's External Affairs Minister to arrive today
India;s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will arrive in Colombo today (06) to set the stage for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Sri Lanka.
During her two-day stay, Ms Swaraj will call on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and hold talks with Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera.
She is also expected to call on President Maithripala Sirisena during the trip, seen as a precursor to the visit by Mr Modi .
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to visit Colombo on March 13, the first visit by an Indian prime minister to Sri Lanka in 28 years.
