Results of Special Exam for fisheries vacancies in Korea out on April 4

Results of the Special Competitive Examination for fisheries vacancies in Korea will be released on April 2. Results will be available at the website www.slbfe.lk

 

Out of 2,220 candidates who had forwarded applications for the examination, 2,014 had sat for the examination held at the Ashoka College, Colombo 10 on March 28. 
 
 
Expressing views the General Manager of Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau Harishchandra Batagoda said that this is a special examination held as a result of discussions held between Minister of Foreign Employment Thalatha Athukorala and the Korean Ambassador.   
 
 
Candidates who will get through the examination will receive fisheries sector jobs in South Korea.
 
 
Once the results are released an interview will be held and applicants who possess experience in the Fisheries sector as well as other professional qualifications will be given special consideration, Mr.Batagoda said.
 
 
He also expressed his gratitude to the Education Ministry, Examinations Dept., Sri Lanka Police and the Principle and teachers of Shoka College for the cooperation extended to hold the examination in a successful manner.
