Five new envoys present credentials

Four new Ambassadors and one High Commissioner presented credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat today (29).

 

Mr Amir Muharemi   – Ambassador of Croatia

Mr Tareq Mubarak Bin Daineh– Ambassador of Bahrain

Mr Szilveszter Bus – Ambassador of Hungary

Mr  Jean-Marin Schuh  - Ambassador of France

Mr James Dauris – High Commissioner for United Kingdom

 

The French Ambassador and the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom are based in Colombo, the other three envoys are concurrently accredited to Sri Lanka with residence in New Delhi, President's Media Unit said.

 

Prime Minister Mr Ranil Wickremesinghe and Foreign Minister Mr Mangala Samaraweera also  participated in the event.
