Sri Lanka Treasury bill yields slump: Central Bank
May 27, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Treasury bill yields were down at Wednesday’s auction with 3-months yield dropping 0.01 basis points to 6.07 percent and 6-month yields also dropping 0.01 basis points, to 6.18 percent, data from the state debt office showed.
It was decided to accept 10,102 million rupees from the auction of 03 month yields from received 19,049 million rupees worth bills.
Treasury bills of 21,000 million were issued through the auction held today.
6-month bills closed at 6.18 percent and it was decided to accept 13,468 million rupees.
12-month closed at 6.29 percent and 4,332 million rupees were accepted from the auction.
The auction was oversubscribed with bids amounting to 57,518 million rupees being received.
It was decided to accept 27,902 million rupees from the auction.
