Ranbhumi National Unity Rally makes it ways to Hatton amidst a sea of people
A river of humanity came together on Wednesday for the Ranbhumi Rally for Unity, symbolising the strength of a nation, united in diversity.
People flocked in unprecedented numbers in Gampola, Nawalapitiya and Ginigathhena on Wednesday to make their mark on the Ranbhumi Rally for Unity, as it journey across the country, bringing Sri Lankan hearts together, brick by brick.
The residents of Gampola expressed their praise and participated in the Ranbhumi Rally for unity with enthusiasm,devoid of racial or religious barriers.
The Ranbhumi Rally arrived at the Central hill town of Nawalapitiya on Wednesday afternoon after receiving a warm send off from Gampola
The people of Nawalapitiya, of all religions and castes, gathered as single river of humanity to extend their wishes to the Ranbhumi rally for unity as it arrived in Nawalapitiya.
The rally arrived at the endpoint of Wednesday’s leg of the journey in Ginigathhena. The people of Ginigathhena too came together to welcome the Ranbhumi Rally.
The people of Hatton, Nuwara Eliya and Welimada, will receive the opportunity on Thursday to symbolise their commitment to the journey to foster national unity, co-existence and harmony.
The Ranbhumi Rally, organised by MTV/MBC, News 1st, Colombo Port City and the National Youth Services Council will visit these towns on Thursday, in its journey across the country.
