Lanka takes on LTTE polls

The Government says they will ask their embassies to work closely with the respective countries in dealing with LTTE front organizations that organize transnational polls by the so called provisional LTTE government. “We will provide information with regard to these LTTE front organizations and the negative impact they can have on their countries,” External Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris said. According to him the Government will not pay attention to these transnational polls that were held in Canada and Australia. “We have had two major elections in the country since the end of the war and the Government has won with nearly a 2/3 majority, and these so called polls will not have any effect,” Prof. Peiris said.   www.dailymirror.lk/index.php/news/3503-lanka-takes-on-ltte-polls.html
