SC sheriff dedicating new K-9 training facility
A South Carolina sheriff is opening a new K-9 training facility that was fully funded by money seized from criminals.
Greenville County Sheriff Steve Loftis is dedicating the new facility on Wednesday.Loftis says the project didn't cost taxpayers anything. He says the training facility was paid for from money taken in drug and gambling busts.Loftis says he's also recognizing two K-9 dogs who retired recently and one who died after an illness.
