A Richland One school bus with 23 students bound for A.C. Flora High School struck at least one vehicle, and two other vehicles were hit, in a traffic accident on Garners Ferry Road this morning near the Shoppes at Woodhill.

No student was injured, and the accident took place about 7:45 a.m., said State Department of Education spokesman Jim Foster.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the bus, whose name was not available, was charged with driving too fast for conditions.

The bus picked up students from the neighborhoods of Leesburg Road, off Patricia Drive and Austin Woods apartments, according to a Richland One spokeswoman.
