Sri Lanka’s Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa says that he will contest for the Presidency.

In a tweet, Opposition Leader Premadasa mentioned that though it is an uphill struggle, he is convinced that truth will prevail.

Previously, Parliamentarian Dullas Alahapperuma expressed interest in contesting for the Presidency from Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), although the party consensus remains divided.
