Sri Lanka shares slip over 1-pct in mid-day trade
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka shares fell over 1-percent in mid-day trade on Tuesday (16) pulled down by retail shares after gaining for 13 sessions.
The main All Share Price Index fell 0.82 percent or 75.55 points to 9,115.97 at 1145 hours.
The most liquid S&P SL20 down 1.88 percent or 58.20 points to 3,039.10.
Market generated a turnover of 3.6 billion rupees.
Top losers are Commercial Bank, Hayleys and Expolanka. (Colombo/Aug16/2022)
