A total of 719,978 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka as of 31 December 2022, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) noted.

Accordingly, with 91,961 arrivals for the month of December alone, Sri Lanka reported an increase of 525,483 tourist arrivals in 2022, compared to the 194,495 arrivals recorded in the year 2021.
