Sri Lanka Government and the Self Employed Person's Association have launched a programme to distribute 500 delivery vans to the self-employed persons. Under this programme the People's Bank provides loans for the self-employed persons to purchase delivery vans while the Diesel and Motor Engineering Company is supplying Dimo Batta delivery pickups at a discounted price.
