13 SSPs promoted as acting DIGs

Thirteen SSPs have been promoted as acting DIGs with the approval of the State Services Commission.

Also nine SPs have been given promotions to the rank of SSP.

The new DIGs are A. Wickramasekara (Kalutara), M.R. Latiff (Moneragala), P. Liyanarachchi (Puttalam), D.W.R.B. Seneviratne (Ampara), S.H.P.H. Dharmasiri (Jaffna), D.U. Kumarasiri (Kegalle), V. Indrian (Matara), U.S.R.N. Wijeratne (Hambantota), J.C. Proctor (Mannar), A.C. Wijesuriya (Nuwara Eliya), P.M.E.C. Fernando (Mullaitivu), S.A.D.S. Gunawardena (Matale), M.I. Karunaratne (Colombo).
