The CID has commenced investigating Matale District MP for Dambulla, Lands Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon from the 26th on alleged charges of illegal sales of state lands, allocating state lands without any legal basis and the sale of land under the false pretext of allocating them through a land kachcheri.
