The Australia Sri Lanka Association (ASLA) brought the vibrant essence of Sri Lankan culture to the Multicultural Festival in Adelaide, Australia. The event, held at Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga on Sunday, 12 November, from 11 am to 5 pm, featured ASLA’s delectable hopper stall and an array of mouthwatering Sri Lankan dishes. The festive atmosphere offered a perfect blend of entertainment and education, making it a must-visit family-friendly occasion.

Not only did ASLA’s participation enhance the multicultural tapestry of the festival, but it also contributed to the larger narrative of South Australia as a harmonious and diverse state. With over 75 community groups representing more than 55 cultures, this year’s festival showcased the richness of our shared human experience through music, dance, food, art, and craft activities. It’s events like these that make South Australia a welcoming and culturally enriched place for all.

ASLA serves as a forum for Sri Lankans and Australians to meet, socialize, and celebrate unity. Cheers to ASLA’s success and multicultural festivities!
