Classic Travel (Pvt) Limited opened its Hambantota branch office on the 10th of Spetember, 2011, amidst invited guests, staff and well wishers.
The office was declared open with the traditional cutting of the ribbon by the chief guest for the occasion, Saif Yusoof, Director of Classic Travel. Suresh Mendis, CEO of Classic Travel, Shiham Imamudeen, COO, the Classic Travel management team and M.Z.M Rizmy from the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce were also present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event Mendis said that “Hambantota is going to be a commercial hub in the country due to the rapid growth and development projects taking place and it is with pride and great pleasure that we are opening our first branch here. We hope to capitalize on the growth potential in the area as well as bring our travel services closer to the people in the South.”
