Rajitha wins ‘ICT Entrepreneur of the Year’ award at NBQSA 2011

Founder and CEO of the award winning online marketing agency, eMarketingEye, Rajitha Dahanayake was named ICT Entrepreneur of the Year at the National Best Quality ICT Awards Ceremony this year. The coveted award, striving to showcase and benchmark the Sri Lankan ICT industry and its pioneers, was presented to Dahanayake for his work in the field of Online Marketing. The company also received a Bronze award at NBQSA 2011 for version 1.0 of “BookingEye”, an Internet booking engine.

An accomplished internet marketing professional with over 12 years experience in online marketing, Dahanayake specialise in the formulation of end-to-end online marketing strategies. He is an expert in search engine optimisation (SEO), Pay per Click (PPC) marketing, Social Media marketing, Performance Analysis and E-Commerce strategy. Rajitha is a Google AdWords Qualified Search Advertising individual and a certified eMarketer from the eMarketing Association of USA.
Prior to establishing eMarketingEye (Private) Limited, this dynamic entrepreneur headed the Online Marketing team at a UK based Web Design and Online Marketing Company, specialising in e-commerce solutions for the travel and hospitality industry. He has also worked in a number of other companies as a consultant and as an e-Marketing analyst.
