‘Gaddafi had own way of building Libya’
Colombo (Sri Lanka Mirror) - NFF leader and minister Wimal Weerawansa says the slain Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi had built and ruled Libya under a socio-economic and cultural mechanism of that country’s own.
In a statement, Mr. Weerawansa says despite any criticism, it was Gaddafi who had made Libya what it is today.
Strongly condemning the brutal killing of the ousted leader, the minister says the actions of NATO leaders cannot be accepted over the Libyan issue, after their preaching of human rights and democracy and leveling of war crimes charges against other nations.
Western nations keep dead silence after the killing of the ruler of an independent nation, says the statement.
