Priyanga wins Zen Estilo in BIA Christmas Shopping Festival draw

The Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) Christmas Shopping Festival, conducted during the Christmas Season of 2011 by Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited for the second consecutive year, rewarded passengers shopping at the Bandaranaike Duty Free Shops with an opportunity to win a brand New Suzuki Maruti Zen Estilo as grand prize in a raffle draw.


Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited Chairman Prasanna J. Wickremasuriya invited Associated Motorways Ltd., to be the main sponsor of the event which saw an increased number of passengers participating in the shopping festival.
Passengers making a purchase of US$ 10 or more at any of the outlets at the Arrival/Duty Free and Departure/Transit shops at the BIA during the period of the promotion were offered the opportunity of winning prizes.
M.D.C.S Priyanga of Devalagedera, Athawa, Aulegama won the brand new Suzuki Maruti Zen Estilo car offered as grand prize in the BIA Christmas Festival this year.
As Priyanga was away in Qatar on employment, his mother H. Hettiarachchi accepting the prize of the brand new Suzuki Maruti Zen Estilo on her son’s behalf, was unreserved in her joy. “I am too happy to say anything much, but I am truly grateful to AMW and Airport authorities for blessing my son with this good fortune. He’s a good boy, he deserves this,” she said appreciatively.
