Press Release

PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League, 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.

Lancelot

Unlike the brave knight he was named for, Lancelot feels he relates more to the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. We assured him that he is much braver than he believes and a loving home is just what he needs to build his confidence. Lancelot is a one-year old, neutered, male Domestic Short Hair mix. He has a blond and white coat and golden eyes. He weighs 10 pounds. Lancelot is a gentle cat looking for a quiet home away from loud noises. He would do best as an only pet with children older than 14 years of age. Make an appointment to come visit Lancelot today. He would love to hear stories about King Arthur and the brave knights of the round table.

Lancelot’s adoption fee is $70.

Lady

True to her name, Lady is elegant, poised and very friendly. She is a three-year-old, spayed, female American Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. She has a caramel-colored coat and chocolaty brown eyes. She weighs 60 pounds. Lady is a friendly girl who does well with cats and children older than 12 years. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home so she can soak up all of your attention. She enjoys going for walks and playing doggie games. Call to make an appointment to meet Lady today. She’d love to give you a tour of the AWL grounds.

For more information or to make an appointment, call the AWL at (574) 267-3008.
