Sri Lanka Tea at Indian Trade Show

The best of Sri Lanka Tea will be showcased at India's only trade show dedicated to the tea and coffee sectors in Mumbai, India.

 

Sri Lanka Tea Board Chairman, Y.G. Wijeratne said India has a large and growing consumer base with varied levels of income, making it a great market for all kinds of tea. Also our participation at World Tea and Coffee Expo (WTCE) 2015 will give a chance to promote Sri Lankan companies in India at this trade fair by directly interacting with Indian buyers, potential partners and government officials, Wijeratne added.

 

He said the Sri Lanka Tea Board has reserved a special pavilion at the third edition of World Tea and Coffee Expo (WTCE) 2015 that will be held in Mumbai, India from October 1 to 3.

 

A number of companies will be showcasing various kinds of bulk and packet tea to increase bilateral trade with India.
