Sri Lanka 3-month bill yield rise 238bp to 32.89-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Treasury bill yields rose 238 basis points to 32.89 percent at Wednesday’s auctions the state debt office said, though the full offered volume was not sold.
The 6-month yield rose 177 basis points to 31.28 percent with 43 billion rupees in bills sold after offering 27.5 billion rupees.
The 12-month yeild rose 67 basis points to 30.50 percent with only 2.9 billion rupees out of 20 billion offered being sold.
The debt office offered 67.5 billion rupees of bills and sold 49.5 billion rupees.
