Sri Lanka shares slipped in mid-day trade
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s shares came down in mid-morning trade on Tuesday (20) after opening on green, slipping for the third session straight, the Colombo Stock Exchange showed.
The main All Share Price Index fell 0.51 percent or 51.47 points to 9,973.93 at 1100 hours.
Most liquid index S&P SL20 fell 0.28 percent or 9.16 points to 3,208.58.
The market generated a turnover of 2.3 billion rupees.
Top losers were Sampath Bank, LOLC and Royal Ceramics. (Colombo/Sep20/2022)
