Sri Lanka shares fall over 3.5-pct in mid-morning trade
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s main index slipped over 3.5 percent within the first hour of trade on Tuesday (11) dragged down by index-heavy shares Expolanka, LOLC and LIOC.
The main All Share Price Index (ASPI) fell 3.55 percent or 321.41 points to 8,728.11 at 1100hours.
Most liquid S&P SL20 fell 4.31 percent or 119.52 points to 2,652.31.
Market generated a turnover of 1.9 billion rupees.
