Oshada Fernando capped a superb double century performance of 201 off 287 balls hammering 23 boundaries and a six, and Sandun Weerakkody an equally rousing knock of. 144 off 154 topped with 15 boundaries and 4 sixes as Kandy ran up a mammoth 554 for 7 wickets on the second day of the Sri Lanka Cricket National Super League 2023 Tournament 4- day match against Colombo at the SSC Grounds yesterday. The duo put on146 runs for the third wicket while Ahan Wickramasinghe was also on song striking an unbeaten 99 and looking well set for a century. Colombo taking first lease on the opening day totalled 214 with Kandy’s Lasith Embuldeniya reaping fine figures of 5 for 60.
