Sri Lanka Women lost the decisive game against New Zealand Women by 102 runs that blew their hopes of making it to the semi finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at Boland Park, Paarl, South Africa. New Zealand Women opting to bat first ran up162 for the loss of 3 wickets and bowled out the Sri Lanka Women for 60 in 15.5 overs. Amelia Kerr, who struck 66 off 48 balls inclusive of 6 boundaries, was the Player of the Match. The win raised New Zealand”s hopes of going through to the semi finals.
