Sri Lanka square three match series against Bangladesh

There’s everything to play for in today’s third T-20 International between Sri Lanka women and Bangladesh women after the hosts squared the three-match series yesterday at SSC after losing the first encounter.

Sri Lanka bowled out Bangladesh for 100 runs inside 19 overs with Udeshika Prabodhini, Sugandika Kumari, Indoka Ranaweera and Kaveesha Dilhari taking two wickets apiece.

The hosts reached the target with nine deliveries to spare as skipper Chamari Athapaththu gave her team an electric start smashing 33 off 27 balls with six fours and one six. Harshitha Samarawickrama finished things off in style with an unbeaten 29 while Kaveesha Dilhari was 20 not out.
