Nugegoda S&WC pulled off an innings and 4 runs win over Panadura SC in their Group A game of the SLC Major League Tournament. The toast of Nugegoda S&WC was Rumesh Buddika who scored a superb unbeaten 126.

Meanwhile, BRC defeated Kandy Customs by 145 runs in a Group A fixture on their home grounds yesterday with Dushan Hemantha claiming a match bag of 7 wickets.

Shehan Fernando and Dinesh Chandimal hit centuries in Army SC’s second innings in their drawn match against SSC in a high scoring affair at the SSC Grounds. Fernando scored 121 off 214 balls inclusive of 10 boundaries and Chandimal 103 off 125 hitting 7 sixes and 5 boundaries.
