How can Sri Lankan charities find international donors and partners?

The Wedagedara prescription

- island.lk

I write this very short note to express my appreciation of Dr. Amali Wedagedara’s article- Surpassing Neo Liberal Fictions towards mission-orientated state (1/19). This is the only sensible article I have read in recent time pertaining to the economic situation facing us. It rekindled in me the pleasure I derived on reading GVS De Silva’s article Some Heretical Thoughts on Economic Development many years ago. Amali Wedgedara’s article may sound as much heretical to our present day neo-liberal economists.

Dr. Wedagedara has disabused our minds of the illusions created by our President and the Central Bank Governor dictated by the IMF. It should be read by our disheartened socialists to revive their waning spirits.

More strength to your elbow Amali, your presentation, I feel is the only one that will save our economy as well as our sovereignty. After all the perception from our traditional Wedagedara cannot fail and has to succeed ultimately.
