Mahinda’s national government is good but not Maithri’s one!

Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa formed a government with Mr. Karu Jayasuriya and 16 others from the UNP and that government was called a ‘national government’ by Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa himself but now the ‘national government’ formed by Mr. Maithripala Sirisena with Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe and the UNP is criticized says Minister of Transport Nimal Siripala de Silva.

Speaking at Ahangama Minister Siripala de Silva said, “Before Mr. Maithripala Sirisena followed the ‘national government’ concept another great person followed it. It was former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. He formed a ‘national government with 17 members of the UNP including Mr. Karu Jayasuriya. Many in our party have forgotten this. National government was good for them then but they criticize it today.”
