Tourists desert Tangalle beach

(Srilankamirror) - The once busy Tangalle beach, teeming with both local and foreign tourists, is deserted today following the murder of a British national.

The area’s hoteliers, tourist guides and traders selling various fares say their livelihoods have suffered immensely as a result of the incident.

A tourist is seen at the beach very rarely nowadays.
