HNB rewards ‘Rata Kasi Wasi’ super draw winners with LCD TVs

Hatton National Bank (HNB) recently held the grand draw of the ‘Rata Kasi Wasi’ promotion, presenting winners with 25 brand new 40-inch colour LCD TVs and other valuable gifts.
This draw was open exclusively for Cash Payout beneficiaries of foreign inward remittances of the six-month promotion period between 1 August, 2013 and 31 January, 2014.
HNB customers who received inward remittances sent from anywhere in the world via HNB’s MoneyGram, Ria, Sigue and XPRESSMONEY qualified for the draw.
The promotion was a double bonanza because it initially offered guaranteed gifts to eligible beneficiaries, while they qualified for the special draw to win 25 brand new 40-inch colour LCD TVs in the second phase.
HNB Chief Operating Officer Dilshan Rodrigo handed over the gifts to the winners while Assistant General Manager – Remittances and Foreign Currency Deposits Kelum Wijesuriya was also in attendance.  The winners of the grand draw were M. HNB, the premier private sector commercial bank in Sri Lanka, is the Super Agent for MoneyGram in Sri Lanka with authority to appoint sub agents. This status was conferred on the bank because it was the first to tie up with MoneyGram and maintain superior service and quality standards and assurances.
