Real expenses of ‘Ranaviru Realstar’
Expenses that Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) has to bear for the ‘Ranaviru Realstar’ contest has been revealed.
The contract for lighting given to Imaging Entertainment without any tender procedure is Rs.8 million. Last time too the same firm was given this contract and an Air Force helicopter had been assigned for transport without any fee.
Mr. Jayantha Chandrasiri is to be paid Rs.2.5 million for the script and direction of the final programme. Also, Mr. Channa Wijewardene is to be paid Rs.5 million for two troupes of dancers.
The director board of the Rupavahini Corporation would not approve such big expenses but no one talks against as it is a project of Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa say sources.
