New mudslinging projects ready against JVP

- lankatruth.com

Mahinda Rajapaksa regime, confronted with several crises internally and externally and is in danger of cracks developing, is planning several mudslinging projects to draw the attention of the masses away from its debacle.

One such project is the attempt to resume an exhibition against the JVP organized soe time ago by former Parliamentarian from Colombo District Chandana Kathriarawchchi. Kathriarachchi was the main suspect of a double murder committed at Nampamunuwa. Two persons who gave evidence in the case died mysteriously and the Attorney General revised the charges. After directing compensation for the dead and a warning the accused including Kathriarachchi were released.

The other mudslinging project that has been planned is regarding the murder of popular announcer and lyrics writer Premakirthi de Alwis. His wife, Nirmala Alwis, has accused the Chairman of SLBC Hudson Samarasinghe regarding the murder. Engaging in mudslinging projects is a usual occurrence whenever the existing government is subjected to political attacks by the JVP.
