Bioderma France joins hands with Harcourts

Bioderma (The Laboratoire Dermatologique Bioderma) based in Lyon, France, a leading and renowned dermatological manufacturer, entered into a strategic business partnership with Harcourts Ltd. Sri Lanka to launch its researched based range of products to the Sri Lankan market.
Bioderma is among the most frequently prescribed dermatologicals by French dermatologists. Bioderma present in more than 70 countries is growing very fast at international level. Over the past five years Bioderma’s average annual growth has been over 32%.
Bioderma’s counterpart in Sri Lanka Harcourts Ltd. is a leading pharmaceutical company engaged in importation and distribution of pharmaceuticals in Sri Lanka. Two decades of aggressive marketing practices, heavy investment in infra-structure build-up and a nation wide web of distribution channel has taken the company among the top five in pharmaceuticals and allied market.
Today Harcourts stands as a diversified group with core interest in pharmaceuticals, neutraceuticals, cosmaceuticals and personal care range, sports and fitness products, drug retailing, advertising and education.
Releasing a joint statement, Bioderma France Director Jean-Yves Desmottes and Harcourts Chairman Ahamed Rheyas stated that they are pleased to introduce the internationally-renowned range of dermatological products into Sri Lanka and are hoping to work with in close collaboration with dermatologists in Sri Lanka to share Bioderma’s knowledge with health professionals around the world and education as to the best techniques to use in order to obtain a better complains with its products that respond to the needs of their patients treating every kind of skin, even the most sensitive.
