‘Virudana Gee Sara’ at Nelum Pokuna on August 02

The ‘Viru Dana Gee Sara’ Musical Show will be held at the ‘Nelum Pokuna’ Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre in Colombo,  tomorrow (August 02).


‘Viru Dana Gee Sara’ is a musical show organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) of the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development, to raise funds for the projects initiated for the welfare of war heroes and their families.


The ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ housing project is one such project which assists war hero families to build their own houses. In addition, the SVU provides interest free housing loans, medical assistance,  three wheelers to disabled war heroes, wheel chairs and grants scholarships for children of war heroes. The military hospital is also one among many benefits.


The dazzling evening of musical entertainment will be sparkled with performances of renowned artists of the Sri Lankan music industry including Ranaviru Real Star performers. (SDF/KH)
