Panther launch eight educational toys at the Colombo International Book Fair

The much anticipated 16th edition of the Colombo International Book Fair (CIBF) will take place from the 10th to the 17th of September at the BMICH. With the participation of 165 local and 36 international entities; A stalwart of the event, Panther, Sri Lanka’s leading stationery manufacturer, and one of the first and only manufacturers of educational products in the country; will, for the 16th successive year, be present at the Book Fair and they will be launching eight new educational products, which will help children with identification, numbers and words.

Panther will showcase its extensive range of high quality children’s educational toys and stationery products including exercise books, CR books, box files, and the brands wide range of attractive note books in varied sizes and colours.

 

The Panther stand will be well stocked with activities that utilize Panther’s range of educational toys. Made to international quality and safety standards, these items are exported to countries in Europe and Asia. Panther plans to focus on letters, language, numbers, memory and object identification for the 2+ age group; while the 4+ group will engaged in activities that revolve around writing, word building and number games.

 

The stand will also feature a special section for traditional Sri Lankan games including Mancala, Pancha Keliya and Nerenchi, all of which have been reintroduced into the market with the objective of preserving the Sri Lankan culture. Coloured sand play will be another fun and unique feature. The sand is suitable for use by kids over five years of age and has passed EN71 safety standards.

 

Panther’s broad range of stationery items as well as its educational toys and games will be available at attractive, specially discounted rates, exclusive to the CIBF.(KH/SI)
