An aspirational new destination and the participation of two glamorous new brand ambassadors has added further oomph to Ceylinco Life’s annual ‘Family Savari’ promotion, which just launched its eighth edition.
The Life insurance leader has announced that the grand prize of the 2015 Savari program will be an all-expenses-paid holiday in Switzerland for five policyholders and their families. In 2014, the grand prize was a holiday in Japan for five policyholder families.
The second prize in Ceylinco Life’s Family Savari 8 will be a holiday in Dubai for 10 policyholders and their families. Another 50 policyholder families will be chosen for the customary holiday in Singapore, while 500 families will as usual get to spend a full day at the Leisure World theme park courtesy of Ceylinco Life.
In all, another 2,260 people will be chosen as winners for the Family Savari 8 promotion, taking the total number of people benefitted by the programme to over 17,000. Adding to the appeal of this highly interactive mega promotion are the two new brand ambassadors, the Sri Lankan actor Roshan Ranawana and his wife Kushlani, who join Family Savari veterans Sriyantha Mendis and Sanjeewani Weerasinghe to endorse and actively participate in the Savari programs.
Speaking at the launch of Family Savari 8, Ceylinco Life Managing Director/CEO R. Renganathan said: “The Family Savari program is a perfect illustration for what makes Ceylinco Life unique in the life insurance industry. Firstly, it is one of the largest and most logistically-challenging interactive promotions conducted by a corporate entity in Sri Lanka. Secondly, it continues to grow in scope and stature every year. Thirdly, it engages, unites and promotes interaction among people from many walks of life and from every district of Sri Lanka, who have one thing in common – their life insurance partner. The Family Savari is therefore a great example for Ceylinco Life’s commitment to Life, Love and Protection.” The promotion period for Family Savari 8 runs from September to December 2014, during which all active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) can earn multiple winning chances that increase with the age of their policies. A mid-promotion draw is scheduled for mid-November 2014, and the grand draw will take place in the second week of January 2015 to select winners, the company said. The market leader in Sri Lanka’s life insurance sector since 2004, Ceylinco Life has close to a million lives covered by active policies. The company is acknowledged as the benchmark for innovation in the local insurance industry for its work in product research and development, customer service, professional development and corporate social responsibility.
