Sirisena speaks for premiership

“The government has already prepared the statistics of victory,” says the Secretary General of the SLFP Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena speaking to ‘Dinamina’ today (23rd). This raises suspicions that the result of the forthcoming presidential election has been already manipulated.

Political analysts point out that Minister Sirisena, who wrote letters protesting against calling a snap presidential election saying calling an election at this time was a defeat to the President, has changed his stance.

They say Minister Sirisena’s change to a position where he states the President would win the election and further adds that he had already prepared statistics of the victory is due to his effort to win the post of premiership.

Minister Sirisena has already begun a project to grab the premiership and got a proposal adopted at the SLFP electoral ‘Bala Mandalaya’ at Polonnaruwa that he should be made the PM before the presidential election.

The political analysts say the change of Minister Sirisena’s stance had taken place as the President had given a signal that he would be made the PM.
