Open day at MINI home: Fun has arrived

Prestige Automobile, the authorised dealer for MINI and BMW in Sri Lanka today held an open day for the public at the MINI showroom located at No 5, Castle Street, Colombo 8. The MINI Showroom Open Day took place from 25-26 October and will also take place from 1-2 November.
The aim is to provide a fun-filled MINI adventure those visiting the showroom. Located at the heart of Colombo, the MINI showroom offers accessibility and convenience and is the perfect point for MINI enthusiasts to gather.
Themed ‘Fun has Arrived’, the MINI showroom is filled with exciting activities such as face painting for kids, a tattoo corner, caricature drawing and a host of fun games for the whole family. Adding to the fun and excitement, guests are treated to free snacks, delicious ice creams and drinks. The opportunity to test drive the newly-launched MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman is also extended to showroom visitors.
The all new MINI Cooper is designed to be bigger, drives better, and is packed with more technological innovation than before. The new MINI continues to be the leading original of the premium small car segment. For the first time, the three-cylinder engine is introduced with MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology. The petrol engines include turbocharging, direct fuel injection and variable camshaft control on the intake and exhaust side (double VANOS).
The MINI Countryman is the first four-door MINI with a body measuring more than four meters in length and comes with a large tailgate and a versatile interior offering space for up to five people. It can be ordered with all-wheel drive.
