In 24 hours an Executive PM powers and the President’s powers could not be given -Mangala
The Member of Parliament UNP, Mangala Samaraweera had quipped that after the 2105 presidential election all powers of the President cannot be empowered to an executive Prime Minister in 24 hours.But only a part of the powers could be vested on the Prime Minister and the other part has to be given to a cabinet and there is position called executive PM.
The executive president’s powers could be abolished only after a new constitution is made after an election and forming a new cabinet consisting of members of all parties he further showed.These expressed at a media briefing at Siri Kotha.
