JHU to Sack Udaya

The Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) is to sack Udaya Gammanpila from the party, JHU Media spokesperson Nisantha Warnasinghe said.

Warnasinghe said that the party would inform its decision to Gammanpila and will also take disciplinary action against him for his statement that he is to take another 17 Western Provincial Council members to the government.

Warnasinghe further said that Gammanpilla had revealed to the media names of the JHU members who are to re-join the government but some of those members have reportedly said they had no plans to join the government. (ISA)
