Yoshitha asked to come before Colombo Crimes Division

Lt. Yoshitha Rajapaksa of SL Navy and son of former President has been asked to report to Colombo Crimes Division today (4th) say reports.

LT. Yoshitha Rajapaksa has been informed through the Commander of the SL Navy to report at Colombo Crimes Division to get a statement from him regarding finding a light aircraft from an economic center at Narahenpita recently. The renowned film director Chandram Ratnam has made a statement to the police that the aircraft belonging to him was handed over to Yoshitha Rajapaksa.

The police on the 14th of last month arrested a group that had come to remove the aircraft while it was hidden in the store of the economic center.

Meanwhile, a complaint filed by the JVP Member for Western Provincial Council Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa before the Defense Secretary stating several irregularities have been committed by Lt. Yoshitha Rajapaksa when getting admission to SL Navy, following a course at Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC), known as Dartmouth, interfering in official affairs of the government and engaging in politics has not been inquired yet. Furthermore, Yoshitha’s name has been highlighted in the death of popular rugby player Wasim Thajudeen.
