Top movies on Hiru TV this weekend
Hiru TV has lined up several top movies for the viewing pleasure of its audience this holiday weekend.
On 1 May (Friday) the popular Hindi movie ‘Heroine’ will be telecast at 12:30 noon.
Heroine is a 2012 Indian drama film directed, written, and co-produced by Mad
hur Bhandarkar. Revolving around the life of a once successful film actress whose career is on the decline, the film features Kareena Kapoor as the protagonist along with actors Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Rakesh Bapat. Additionally, the project also stars Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta, Helen, Shillpi Sharma, Mugdha Godse and Lillete Dubey in supporting roles.
Friday at 10 p.m. the Sinhala movie Kshema Bhumi will be televised. Its cast include Asoka Pieris, Yashodha Wimaladharma, Palitha Silva, Wijaya Nandasiri, Sriyantha Mendis, Grace Ariyawimal, Jackson Anthony, and Sangeetha Weeraratne. The film is directed by Wijaya Dharma Sri.
On Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Siri Parakum will be shown. This is the first time the 2013 film is telecast on TV.
Directed by Somarathne Dissanayake and Produced by Renuka Balasuriya, the movie features Pramudhitha Udaya Kumara, Akhila Dhanuddhara, Chandani Seneviratne, Giriraj Kaushalya, Palitha Silva, Sachini Ayendra and Senali Fonseka.
