Minister of Tourism, Lands, Sports and Youth Affairs Harin Fernando has announced that the 2024 Annual General meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will be held in Sri Lanka from 19 to 22nd July.
In a major step towards resolving land ownership issues for over two million Sri Lankans, the “Urumaya” program will be officially launched on 05th February in Dambulla. Tourism, Lands and Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Harin Fernando announced this during a press briefing held at the President Media Centre today (31) under the theme ‘Collective Path to a Stable Country’.
Sri Lanka has recorded over 200,000 tourist arrivals within the first month year, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
