By Norman Palihawadane A JVP-led NPP local government candidate, injured during Sunday’s protest, in Colombo, died yesterday (27). The deceased was identified as 61-year-old Nimal Amarasiri, an NPP candidate for the Nivithigala Pradeshiya Sabha. Hospital sources said the victim, admitted to the ICU of the National Hospital, had died around 11.00 am, yesterday.
