An infant suspected to be a few days old was found abandoned by the side of the Kinniya – Sardhapura road in Trincomalee on Saturday (04) morning and has been handed over to the Uppuweli Police. The infant has been admitted to the Trincomalee Base Hospital and is said to be in good health.
